Nekrolog ved Peters død i 1915:
Peter Fisher was born in Terp Schleswig, April 23, 1844 and died at Kearney Nebr. Saturday evening September 4, 1915 aged 71 years, 4 months and 11 days. The cause of his death was heart failure and came quite sudden.
Mr. Fisher came here about 30 years ago and for a number of years lived on the farm one mile southwest of town and which is yet known as the Fisher farm. Later he lived at Laramie, Wyo., Kearney and the last year or more with his daughter at Pender, until about a month ago when he returned to Kearney and was building a new home there when death put an end to all of his doings.
Peter Fisher leaves five daughters: Mrs. T.H. Pargeter at Seattle, Wash. Mrs M.C. Freed, Pender Nebr.; Mrs. M.T. Nelson Ordway, Colorado, Mrs W.G. Jensen and Mrs. Andrew Nelson here, who with other relatives and friends mourn the loss of a loving father and a good friend. The funeral was from the Lutheran church here Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mr. Fisher was one of the first members of the Woodman camp here and at the time of his death was in good standing.
