Obituary fra Racine Journal Times

- Mrs. Edna Kosterman, 92, passed away at her home on
Wednesday evening, February 3, 1999.
She was born in Racine on September 1, 1906,
and lived in Racine all of her life.
She was a Public Health Nurse for the City of Racine
for many years and then for 10 years she worked for
Family Services, retiring in 1981. She was a former
member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Girl Scout
Leader and volunteered for the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Kosterman is survived by one daughter, Janet Brasfield
of Racine; one grandson, John (Jackie) Brasfield; one granddaughter,
Jenny (Stacey) Bland; two great-grandchildren, Vueve and Ryan;
nieces, nephews, other relatives. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Lawrence Kosterman in August 1959; two sisters,
and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home,
1139 Blaine Avenue, on Saturday, February 6, 1999,
at 10 a.m. with Fr. Russell G. Roetzer officiating.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on
Highway 32. Friends may meet with the family
at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m.
until time of services. Memorials in memory of
Mrs. Kosterman, to St. Catherine's High School
have been suggested.
